Walking from Rue Parthenais all the way to the Olympic Stadium for the closing ceremony of Fierté Montréal 2025 was one of the most liberating experiences of my life. Dressed in a sheer, black crocheted vest and ultra-short shorts, I stepped onto the streets without reservations or fear of judgment. At almost fifty years old, that walk was a powerful declaration of radical self-acceptance. I embraced my body exactly as it is—unapologetically authentic, proud, and free. The vibrant energy of Montréal and the rhythm of my steps turned the journey into a deeply personal sanctuary of joy. Beyond the music and festivities, it was a moment to honor my own resilience, to celebrate simply being alive, and to salute every challenge I have overcome to stand where I am today. Feeling the energy of the crowd and the open air filled me with boundless hope. I walked with a light heart, fully grounded in self-love and warmly open to the love that awaits. Fierté Montréal 2025 wasn't just a festival; it was a triumphant celebration of life, body positivity, and hope for the future. I am positive that Fierté 2026 will exceed all that happened last year's Tea Dance. Stay safe Andrea Happy Pride!
